As indicated in the message, in the food products segment, price growth accelerated to 0.35% from 0.32% in the last reporting week. “For fruits and vegetables, the rate of price growth decreased to 1.84%. For other food products, prices increased by 0.21%. Chicken meat, pork, sugar and buckwheat fell in price, the rise in prices for rice and bakery products slowed down. For eggs, the price increase continued.” , – the ministry reports.

According to him, in the segment of non-food products during the reporting week, a near-zero increase in prices was recorded, and in the industry of regulated, tourism and consumer services, prices increased by 0.36%.
The Ministry of Economic Development forecasts inflation in the Russian Federation in 2023 at 7.5%, the Bank of Russia – in the range of 7-7.5%. Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said on December 7 that the ministry maintains its inflation estimate of 7.5% for the year.
