But the statistics cited by the president indicate the opposite. It means that the capacities and production facilities located in these regions, as well as self-employed citizens and legal entities, are included in the general economic process in Russia, they work and benefit our country.”
< p>— The economic potential of these regions is very significant. Coal industry, nuclear energy, mechanical engineering, agriculture, chemical industry. All this is profitable, can and should bring dividends and money, including to the budget of the Russian Federation. The sooner the conflict situation is normalized, the sooner its full potential can be realized.
— You need to navigate primarily on statistics. If we recall the data that existed under Ukraine, the most powerful region was the Donetsk region – currently the DPR. Next came the Lugansk and Zaporozhye regions. They are all very different in economic structure, and now also in territorial boundaries. The Kherson region is a region with traditional agriculture and in this regard, I think, nothing has changed. Each region has its own specifics and focus, clearly established during the Soviet Union, and at the moment each of these areas is in great demand in the country, especially within the framework of import substitution.
