The Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow ordered administrative arrests of 73 people who, on December 15, at the Sadovod market tried to push the police away from the driver who hit the security officer. This was reported by the press service of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction.
51 people were found guilty under protocols of disobedience to the demands of a police officer (Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). Another 21 people were found guilty of violating the rules of entry into Russia or stay in the country (parts 3 and 3.1 of article 18.8 of the Administrative Code). They were sent to a temporary detention center for foreign citizens.
At the same time, RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the court, writes that 22 participants in the skirmish were expelled from Russia.
According to the police, the 21-year-old driver “did not obeyed,” tried to get away from the security officer and ended up dragging him several meters behind the car. The Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the man got out of the car and hit the police officer several times.
During the arrest, the driver began to have an epileptic attack. “While assisting the detainee, a group of aggressive citizens (more than 80 people) approached the police officers and tried to push them away from the detainee, damaging the official car by cutting the wheel,” the department said. One of the police officers fired several shots into the air.
A case was opened against a driver with foreign citizenship for violence against a security officer and insulting a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code and Article 319 of the Criminal Code). According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a total of 82 people were detained after the clash in the Moscow district of Kapotnya.
