MOSCOW, December 21 State Duma deputy Maria Butina asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Culture to check the party organized at the Mutabor club by Anastasia Ivleeva for compliance with the law banning LGBT* propaganda.
“
"Appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with a request to conduct an inspection and give a legal assessment of the event in the Mutabor club in Moscow with the participation of a number of public figures for compliance with the law banning LGBT* propaganda, as well as compliance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation <…> “On the approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values,” Butina wrote on Telegram.
Ivleeva’s party was called “naked.” Following the dress code, the guests arrived half naked. As reported in telegram channels, one of the event participants, rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasilyev), had one sock hiding his genitals.
The event was attended by Philip Kirkorov, Lolita Milyavskaya, Dzhigan, Dima Bilan, Ksenia Sobchak and others celebrities.
Later, activists of the “Call of the People” movement wrote a complaint to the Prosecutor General’s Office, indignant that the party took place at a time when “Russia is leading the SVO and stands for traditional values.”
The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, called the event cynical.
* The movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia.
