MOSCOW, December 18 Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova suggested that the inter-factional working group in the State Duma form a council that will screen candidates for financing children's family films.
Kuznetsova noted that the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is reviewing the council that is responsible for children's cinema, and its formation will be completed in the near future.
“We propose that by the end of this year we ourselves form a council that will screen candidates for financing children’s family films; we are working with the Ministry of Culture in this regard,” she said at a meeting of the inter-factional working group in the State Duma.
She noted that among the specialists who conduct an examination of children's content, there should be psychologists, teachers, and human rights specialists.
