MOSCOW, December 22 The Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested rapper Vacío (Nikolai Vasiliev) for 15 days and fined 200 thousand rubles for appearing almost naked at a party, the court's press service reported.
«The court decided to recognize Vasiliev N.M. guilty under part two of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses («Petty hooliganism») and sentenced to administrative arrest for 15 days. And also under part three of Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses («Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations») — a fine of 200 thousand rubles was imposed for this.» , said the agency’s interlocutor.
The artist himself confirmed the arrest in his Telegram.
As follows from the materials, the rapper participated at the “naked party” in the Mutabor nightclub.
“
"(Vasiliev. — Ed.) violated public order, used gross obscene language and distributed publications in telegram channels aimed at promoting non-traditional sexual relations,” stated in the documents.
The party at Mutabor was organized by blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. The event was attended by many Russian pop stars — following the dress code, they were half naked.
The party received scandalous publicity. The head of the «Safe Internet League» Ekaterina Mizulina called her cynical — it is unethical «to hold such events at a time when our children are dying in the Northern Military District and many children are losing their fathers.»
State Duma Deputy Maria Butina, for her part , appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Culture with a request to conduct an inspection and give a legal assessment of the party. In her opinion, the event should be assessed “for compliance with the law banning LGBT* propaganda and the presidential decree on strengthening traditional values.”
* The movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia.
