DONETSK, December 24A civilian was injured as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of Gorlovka, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported on the Telegram channel.
«According to the operational lines of the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC on December 24, as of 13:00, information was received about civilian casualties in the cities of the Republic: the settlement of Gorlovka (Nikitovsky district): — on Rtutnaya Street, 15, a woman born in 1985 was wounded birth,» the representative office said in a statement.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
