Mother of a little girl, found on the balcony of an apartment in the south-west of Moscow, admitted that she drowned her. This was reported to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the capital.
«During the investigative actions, she reported that while swimming she forcibly held the girl under water, as a result of which she choked,» the Investigative Committee said.
A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
It was previously reported that the mother of the deceased baby was 17 years old and had another child. The children's grandmother stated that the baby drowned herself.
