In the Kursk region, the village of Gornal, located near the border with Ukraine, came under fire, said Governor Roman Starovoyt. According to him, two houses were damaged, and one village resident died from shrapnel wounds.
Four drones were also shot down over the region, the Ministry of Defense claims. One of them, according to Governor Starovoit, was flying near the city of Kurchatov, where the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is located.
The Mash Telegram channel claims that the remaining drones were shot down near Kursk when they were flying in the direction of the airport. The Telegram channel “Kursk Beau Monde” published a video with the sounds of an explosion, allegedly filmed by a resident of the city.
