MOSCOW, January 12 Chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina on Friday met with the Minister of Finance of Belarus Yuri Seliverstov, during the meeting issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, reports press service of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
«On January 12, 2024, Chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina held a meeting with the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Seliverstov, who arrived in Moscow on a working visit,» the regulator said in a statement.
During the meeting, current issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed. The participants emphasized the parties’ focus on a successful joint result. Other details of the meeting were not specified in the regulator's message.
Belarus, the Central Bank adds, is the closest strategic partner and ally both within the EAEU and the Union State.
