BEIJING, January 20 Russia supplied China with 107.024 million tons of oil worth $60.644 billion in 2023, maintaining leadership among other countries, follows from data published in Saturday by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
The growth in supplies in January-December of this year was 24.1% compared to the same period last year, when China purchased 86.24 million tons of oil from Russia for $58.584 billion.
Separately, in December, China purchased 9.56 million tons of oil from the Russian Federation for $5.525 billion.
In second place in oil supplies to China at the end of the year was Saudi Arabia — 85.95 million tons worth 53.88 billion dollars, Iraq was in third place (54.79 million tons worth 35.21 billion dollars).
