RIA: the lease agreement with the Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation has already been terminated
The Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation, which actually ceased work at the beginning of 2022, officially lost the diplomatic mission building in Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to an “informed source.”
According to the agency’s interlocutor, “the lease agreement with the Ukrainian Embassy has allegedly already been terminated,” but this was “not emphasized” due to “oversaturation of information space with the Ukrainian agenda.»
Also, the RIA source said that the decision to terminate the agreement was made because the Russian Foreign Ministry «promised to respond to this outrage.» It is explained that in the spring of 2023, the Kiev City Council announced the termination of a similar agreement with the Russian Embassy “and threatened to nationalize the building.”
