MOSCOW, February 10 Politician Boris Nadezhdin reported , that he allows for possible cooperation with the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation from the “New People” Vladislav Davankov, but a meeting is not expected yet.
Earlier, Davankov, in a conversation with Kommersant, said that he plans to include in his program some provisions prepared by Nadezhdin and other politicians who were denied registration, although their positions “do not agree on everything.” Also, according to the newspaper, Davankov wants to meet with Nadezhdin in the coming week.
«Not yet. We are thinking, we are conducting polls. It depends on who gets the votes from me,» Nadezhdin said when asked whether he is really expected meeting with Davankov.
«I am ready (to cooperate — ed.) with everyone who shares our goals,» Nadezhdin said.
On Friday, the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation refused to register Nadezhdin as a candidate for the post of president RF. The proportion of invalid signatures in support of his candidacy turned out to be higher than acceptable.
The Federation Council scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
