A mother convicted of causing the death of her child committed suicide in Moscow
In Moscow, a young mother, who was convicted last December of causing the death of her child through negligence, committed suicide. This was reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
As it became known, the day before the body of a 22-year-old girl was found near the entrance of a residential building in the Nekrasovka district. Doctors admitted the young mother to the hospital with a spinal injury, chest damage and severe contusion of the lungs. The woman's husband tried to stop her, but the man's body was also found under the windows.
At the end of June 2022, the deceased girl left her three-month-old daughter with the dog in the apartment and left. The pet jumped onto the bed where the child was lying and knocked the girl over. The baby was hit in the back of the head while falling to the floor. The girl was admitted to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury. Doctors tried to save the child, but the baby developed cerebral edema. Some time later the girl died. At the end of December 2023, the mother was sentenced to 10 months of imprisonment for causing the death of her child through negligence.
