In the Republic of Bashkortostan, there was a sharp rise in water levels on several rivers, leading to serious problems. A particularly high water level was recorded on the Urshak River in the Ufa region, where the level rose by 1.5 meters in one day. Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Emergency Situations Kirill Pervov reported on a significant number of flooding of roads, houses, adjacent areas and garden plots in the region.

Over the past 24 hours, the emergency response service received 60 reports of flooding, and the beginning of the flood period, their number reached 758. The water level on the Urshak River near the village of Bulgakovo, Ufa region, rose by 150 centimeters in a day, and only about 0.5 meters remained before reaching the critical level. On the Sima River near the settlement of Glukhovka, Iglinsky district, the level rose by 125 centimeters, and 38 centimeters remained to the critical level. Also, the water level on the Belaya River in the village of Bugulchan, Kuyurgazinsky district, and on the Buye River in the village of Amzya, Neftekamsk, rose by about 1 meter. There are 2-3 meters left before reaching the critical mark.
Representatives of the republican main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that an influx of warm air is expected in the near future, which will lead to a further increase in the water level in the rivers. The active phase of the flood will soon begin due to an increase in water volume.
