As the city administration reported, at 08.00 (06.00 Moscow time) Monday the water level rose to 631 centimeters, at 08.00 (06.00 Moscow time) Tuesday — to 742 centimeters, at 08.00 (06.00 Moscow time ) Wednesday — up to 865 cm. The Ural Hydrometeorological Center predicted a continued rise in water in the Tobol River near Kurgan until April 18. The water level exceeded the “dangerous phenomenon” mark (850 centimeters).
