The former head of Navalny's headquarters in Ufa, Liliya Chanysheva, was transported from Bashkortostan to the Perm Territory. Her husband Almaz Gatin told RusNews about this.
“Tonight my wife was taken to IK-28 Berezniki, Perm Territory. Route: pre-trial detention center-3 Chelyabinsk, pre-trial detention center-5 Yekaterinburg, pre-trial detention center-5 Perm,” said the husband of the oppositionist.
Together with Chanysheva, Bashkir activist Ramil Saitova (Galim) was transported, lawyer Ramil Gizatullin said in his Telegram channel. According to his information, the prisoner will be placed either in IK-32 in Perm or in IK-18 in Kungur.
In June 2023, the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa sentenced Liliya Chanysheva to seven and a half years in a general regime colony in the case of an “extremist community” due to involvement in Navalny’s headquarters. In April, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan increased the sentence of the oppositionist to nine and a half years in a general regime colony.
In December last year, Ramil Saitova was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony under the article on public calls for anti-state activities due to an appeal to the mobilized Bashkirs, in which the activist invited them to return home.
