GROZNY, April 19 To the Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov was awarded the rank of major general, the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced on his Telegram channel.
«By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 265c dated April 16, 2024, our dear brother, Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic, Major General of the Internal Service Magomed Daudov, was awarded the military rank of «Major General». This is recognition of his long-term and fruitful activity in the field of ensuring the security of the region and protecting the interests of the entire country,” Kadyrov wrote.
⠀The head of the region noted that Daudov had come a “glorious” path from the head of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Shalinsky district to the chairman of the regional parliament. According to Kadyrov, he is known for his outstanding military and leadership qualities; during the years of the fight against international terrorism in Chechnya, he made a significant contribution to the destruction of members of gangs; currently, Daudov also oversees the work of the regional operational headquarters for conducting military operations.
