MOSCOW, April 19 Russian President Vladimir Putin closely monitors the development of the “Time of Heroes” personnel program, the mechanism is in demand and is gaining momentum, said press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
«Absolutely. Since this is an initiative of Vladimir Putin, of course, the president is very carefully monitoring how this system is developing. This is only the initial period of development of the system. In order for appointees to appear, they first need to be trained. Someone gets access to online courses, some will go to study in person. This is still to come. But the whole mechanism is gaining momentum quite quickly,” Peskov answered the question of whether the president is monitoring the development of this program.
During his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a new special personnel program for veterans and participants in a special military operation called “Time of Heroes.” Peskov reported that the program will be implemented on the basis of the Senezh workshop by the RANEPA Higher School of Public Administration for participants or veterans of the Northern Military District. Registration of selection participants ended on April 8; in total, more than 44 thousand applications were submitted.
