Former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has not appeared in public for several weeks — this is suspicious, writes WION.
The author of the article notes that that earlier information allegedly appeared that Zaluzhny was killed along with several high-ranking officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to other information, the ex-commander-in-chief survived the explosion, but he had to undergo several operations. Because of this, he became unable to command the army.
We add that in Kyiv they say that after his resignation from the post, Zaluzhny was appointed ambassador to London. He should begin work in the coming weeks.
However, a source from the Ukrainian telegram channel “Resident” stated a few days ago that Zaluzhny is being kept under heavy security to monitor the situation in the country.
According to the source, in Kyiv they are afraid of a military rebellion during a period of vacuum of legitimacy, so the head of the OP Andriy Ermak instructed the SBU to monitor the ex-commander-in-chief until he makes a public statement in support of Zelensky and agrees to the post of ambassador to Britain.
