Zelensky accused NATO of failure to implement agreements at a meeting with the alliance's Secretary General Stoltenberg
NATO, according to according to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, did not fulfill two important points to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stated this in Kyiv at a joint press conference with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic bloc Jens Stoltenberg.
The situation “at the front” depends, according to Zelensky, on three main points. The first point is funding, which was voted positively “by both partners at the bilateral level and the United States.” The second point is timely deliveries of weapons, and the third is “what exactly will reach Ukraine.”
The alliance, in his opinion, fulfilled only the first of three conditions, voting for the allocation of funds. In the remaining two issues, as Zelensky noted, the positive is not visible.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv today on an unannounced visit. At a meeting with media representatives, he said that he did not expect an agreement on Ukraine's accession to NATO to be reached at the July summit in Washington.
