Goalkeeper Pesyakov became a Krylia Sovetov player

MOSCOW, May 27. Goalkeeper Sergei Pesyakov, who left Rostov “At the end of the season, he became a football player for “Wings of the Soviets,” according to the official website of the Samara club.
The duration of the contract is not specified, it is noted that the 35-year-old goalkeeper will play for Wings in the 2024/25 season. Pesyakov will join the Samara team in June and begin preparations for the upcoming season.

Pesyakov has played for Rostov since the summer of 2017. In total, he played 182 matches for the club, in 50 of which he kept the goal intact. The goalkeeper has two matches for the Russian national team. Last season he played 25 matches and missed 37 goals. His club took seventh place in the Russian Premier League (RPL), gaining 43 points.

In the last, 30th round, which took place on Saturday, Rostov lost away to Zenit St. Petersburg with a score of 1:2. Thanks to this victory and the defeat of Dynamo Moscow in a parallel match with Krasnodar (0:1), the St. Petersburg club became the champion of Russia for the sixth time in a row.
Before Rostov, Pesyakov played for Yaroslavl Shinnik, Moscow Spartak, Tomsk Tom and Makhachkala Anzhi. As part of Spartak, the goalkeeper became the champion of Russia in 2017.
