MOSCOW, May 27. Aston Villa have signed a new long-term a contract with the former coach of Spartak Moscow Unai Emery, according to the website of the English Premier League (EPL) club.
Emery's new contract is for five years and will run until June 2029.

Emery is 52 years old. He has been in charge of Aston Villa since the fall of 2022. Last season, the team from Birmingham took fourth place in the English Championship and won a place in the Champions League for the first time since 1983.
From June to November 2012, Emery headed Spartak. He also coached the Spanish Almeria, Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal, the English Arsenal and the French PSG. Under Emery's leadership, Sevilla won the Europa League for three years in a row, and he won this tournament one more time with Villarreal.
