As MK previously reported, the Maserati driver drove at speed into a bus stop where children were standing . As a result, a 13-year-old child died, and a 12-year-old victim had part of his left leg torn off.
The culprit of the fatal accident was a 27-year-old head of the logistics department of a transport company engaged in cargo transportation. Moskvich received specialized secondary education at the Moscow College of Transport, and after graduation he worked as a train compiler. Wanting to earn even more, he got a job as a logistics dispatcher in a cargo transportation company, where he gradually rose to the position of head of the logistics department. In addition, since 2016, the man was engaged in the purchase and resale of used cars.
On the evening of June 7, he went to visit friends at their dacha in the Mozhaisk urban district. The comrades had a fun night, chatting and drinking alcoholic beverages. Closer to lunch the next day, the man, still hungover, asked a friend to let him drive a sports car. The owner of the 2008 Maserati gave the go-ahead, and he took a seat in the passenger seat.
Moving towards the village of Kiselevo, the driver, according to eyewitnesses, picked up a speed of more than 100 km/h, lost control and hit teenagers. It was not possible to find the severed foot of one child, so in the hospital the wounded man underwent surgery to truncate the tibia bones, suturing lacerations on the legs, as well as the remaining skin of the leg. The patient in serious condition was transported to the capital's hospital, where doctors performed a second operation.
As Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, reported, at the request of the investigator, the accused who committed the accident was given a preventive measure in the form of detention under guard until August 8, 2024.
