MOSCOW, June 14 Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Chairman of United Russia Dmitry Medvedev believes that there will be a gradual transition from traditional schemes for the allocation of foreign aid to a new type of international cooperation to promote development on a multilateral basis with greater use of private capital and the involvement of funds from non-confrontational structures, including the New Development Bank.
«The focus will be on a gradual transition from traditional schemes for the allocation of foreign assistance through intergovernmental lines using funds allocated by countries through the UN, IMF, IBRD, to a new type of international cooperation in order to promote development on a multilateral basis. And, of course, , with wider use of private capital funds and the attraction of funds from non-confrontational structures that enjoy the trust of countries of the Global South, including the New Development Bank,” Medvedev wrote in an article for Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
