In Derbent and Makhachkala, on June 23, armed militants attacked two Orthodox churches, two synagogues and a traffic police post; criminal cases of terrorist attacks were opened. According to the latest data, 20 people became victims of the attacks, and the number of victims increased to 46. In the region, June 24, 25 and 26 have been declared days of mourning. Security forces killed five militants involved in these terrorist attacks, their identities have been established.
