WASHINGTON, July 7 Host of Civic Media radio station in the US state Wisconsin Earl Ingram, who interviewed US President Joe Biden this week, said he was given questions that should have been asked of the head of state.
A similar admission was previously made by a radio host in Pennsylvania who spoke with the US President on Wednesday.
«Yes, I was given questions for Biden,» Ingram told ABC News.
He clarified that he received from the American leader’s team a list of five questions that should have been asked of Biden during the interview, and as a result, the presenter voiced four of them.
«I didn't have a chance to ask him all the things I wanted,» he complained.
Earlier, the host of radio station WURD in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Andrea Lawful-Sanders, told CNN that she had received in advance from the White House a list of questions that could be asked of the American leader during an interview on Wednesday.
Despite a pre-prepared list of questions, Biden's interview on WURD radio was not without its excesses. The US president, reflecting on his political achievements, gave reason to think that he considers himself a black woman, saying that he was proud to be “the first vice president, the first black woman” and to serve alongside a black president.
Biden meant that he served as vice president during the reign of the African-American Barack Obama, and when he became president, he appointed Kamala Harris, a black woman, to this post. The inability to clearly formulate a thought led to ridicule on social networks and a number of publications.
Biden, the oldest president in US history, often gives his political opponents reasons to doubt his cognitive abilities, regularly making slips and blunders in public speeches. Republicans are using this in a partisan battle to cast doubt on Biden's ability to effectively lead the state.
