MOSCOW, July 6Gazprom updated the record for daily gas supplies to Russian consumers for July; a new maximum of 688.8 million cubic meters was reached on July 4, the company reported.
«Since July 1, gas supplies from the Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS) of Russia have been daily higher than the maximum figures for this month in all previous years. A new historical record — 688.8 million cubic meters — was recorded on July 4,» the message says. Telegram channel of the company, 
It is noted that Gazprom ensures increased consumer demand for gas in the summer season, when scheduled preventive maintenance is traditionally carried out at UGSS facilities and gas is pumped into Russian underground storage facilities.
It is also clarified that in June 2024, starting from the 2nd, daily gas supplies from Russia’s UGSS were higher than the maximum for June in all previous years. A new historical record for daily supplies for this month was achieved on June 19 — 691 million cubic meters of gas.
