MOSCOW, July 7 The procedure for nominating candidates for the Moscow City Duma elections has come to an end in the capital; 389 people took part in it, said Dmitry Reut, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Commission.
«The procedure for nominating candidates for the Moscow City Duma elections has come to an end. 389 people took part in it,» Reut said.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Commission, over 280 people have already submitted documents for registration. Among the candidates, there are five people with expunged convictions.
Candidates for the elections of deputies of the Moscow City Duma can submit documents for registration until 18:00 on July 7.
The election campaign started in the capital on June 7. Elections to the Moscow City Duma will be held from September 6 to 8, 2024, Muscovites will have to determine 45 deputies in single-mandate constituencies.
