MOSCOW, July 14 Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that he read the published declassified archives about the negotiations between the Russian leadership and NATO in the 1990s. The video was published on the Telegram channel of journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The US National Security Archive, previously founded by journalists and scientists in 1985, has published a new batch of declassified documents related to relations between the Russian Federation, the United States and NATO.
«Yes, I read it, I really did. And I even read the records of conversations that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin spoke about a long time ago, 6 or 7 years ago — what we were promised, what was discussed and what happened in the end,» Peskov said.
