Pensioners over 80 years of age and disabled people of group I will receive an increase in pension from 1,200 rubles
At a meeting on July 22, the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs will discuss a proposal for a monthly pension supplement of 1,200 rubles for pensioners over 80 and disabled people of Group I, taking into account indexation. This was reported to the TASS agency by the committee chairman, Yaroslav Nilov.
Earlier, Nilov told TASS that at a plenary meeting on July 23, the State Duma will consider an amendment that would allow the payment of unused maternity capital funds up to 10 thousand rubles. In addition, it was proposed to include compensation payments for caring for disabled citizens directly into pensions, taking into account the regional coefficient and annual indexation.
According to Nilov, this additional payment will be automatically accrued to persons over 80 years of age or who are disabled group I in the amount 1,200 rubles, taking into account the regional coefficient and annual indexation applied to the corresponding pensions.
Currently, monthly compensation payments in the amount of 1,200 rubles are received by non-working persons caring for group I disabled people and elderly people in need of care . According to Nilov, the innovation is that persons over 80 years of age and disabled people of group I will receive an additional payment to their pension without the need to justify this by caring for them.
Nilov expressed confidence that the committee recommends the adoption of this amendment by the State Duma.
