A resident of Kaluga was detained after he set fireworks in the military commissariat building. This was reported by KalugaNews and local journalist Evgeniy Serkin, citing his sources.
As Serkin writes, a man entered the military registration and enlistment office on Pole Svobody Street, 18A and set fireworks in the lobby of the building. This caused a small fire, which was quickly extinguished.
SHOT reports that the fireworks arsonist tried to escape. After his arrest, he was interrogated by security forces — according to the telegram channel, the man said that he acted on the instructions of scammers who defrauded him of money.
According to SHOT, after the fireworks were set on fire, people in the building heard the sounds of explosions and started hide in offices. After that, everyone inside was evacuated through the back door.
