MOSCOW, July 21 US presidential candidate Donald Trump expressed perplexed that the shooter at a rally in Pennsylvania could not be prevented from getting onto the roof of the building from which fire was opened.
«How could someone get on this roof? Why wasn't he reported? After all, people saw that he was on the roof,» Trump quoted Trump as saying from an interview with Fox News.
Trump also stressed that no one warned him about any security problems before the rally.
«They could have said wait 15, 20 or 5 minutes. No one said… I think that was a mistake,» Trump said.
Earlier, ABC News, citing law enforcement officials, reported that US Secret Service snipers spotted Matthew Crooks on the roof 20 minutes before he shot at Trump.
Last Saturday, July 13, there was a shooting at Trump's campaign speech in Pennsylvania, the ex-president was wounded in the ear, one of the spectators was killed, and two others were critically injured. The US Secret Service said it had killed a suspect who fired several shots towards the stage.
