The Russian Defense Ministry reported a nighttime drone attack from the Ukrainian side. According to the report, more than 70 drones were shot down or intercepted, mostly in the Rostov, Oryol, Kursk, and Belgorod regions.

In Oryol, in the Bolkhovsky microdistrict in the northern suburbs, two drones hit a 16-story building on Yablonevaya Street. According to footage from the scene, the explosions occurred first on the 13th floor, and then on the top 16th floor of one entrance. According to the governor, the fire was extinguished, as a result of which «one person went to the hospital.»
Rostov Oblast, according to the head of the region Vasily Golubev, was attacked by 55 drones (the Defense Ministry mentioned only 36 downed drones in the report). «A number of warehouse facilities in the Kamensk and Morozovsky districts were damaged,» he described the consequences.
The publication 161.ru posted a photo of a large explosion at night at an oil depot near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, near the M-4 highway. According to eyewitness footage, the fire was not extinguished in the morning, and a column of black smoke was rising from the tank.
Astra published a video of a series of prolonged explosions, allegedly filmed near the Morozovsk military airfield. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claims that they managed to hit «ammunition depots at the airfield, where, in particular, guided aerial bombs were stored.» In the city of Morozovsk itself, according to eyewitness footage, a supermarket was damaged.
In the Belgorod region, drones attacked an oil depot near the city of Gubkin, and a tank caught fire. Explosions due to air defense were also heard in Kursk and other cities in the Kursk region, but no damage was reported.
