MOSCOW, August 5 A man hit a woman and her child while shooting from an air pistol from the window of his apartment towards a playground in eastern Degunino in Moscow, the capital's prosecutor's office reports.
«A 40-year-old man fired shots from an air gun from the window of a fourth-floor apartment on 800th Anniversary of Moscow Street towards a children's playground, hitting a woman and her daughter, born in 2021,» the department's Telegram channel said. 
It is noted that the man has already been detained, and an air pistol was found in his apartment.
Later, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow reported that the police had opened a criminal case of hooliganism. At the same time, the capital's Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee is asking that the case be transferred to their department.
The press service of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the victims sought help at the hospital. The man who fired the shots appeared to be intoxicated, and his air pistol will be sent for examination, the department added.
