As a result of shelling of the Belgorod Region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours, 16 people were injured, said the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
13 of the 16 injured are still in medical facilities, one of them is seriously wounded. According to the governor, the Belgorod Region was attacked 86 times in 24 hours. In particular, the city of Shebekino, the village of Borisovka and the villages of Cheremoshnoye, Yasnye Zori, Nikolskoye, Poroz and Baytsury came under fire. A missile threat was also declared in Belgorod.
The Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems shot down 14 drones over the Belgorod Region overnight. In addition, drones were shot down over the Kursk and Oryol Regions early this morning.
