Shot: in Moscow region, a man is suspected of beating a woman and trying to burn her alive
A man suspected of brutally beating up his common-law wife has been detained in the Moscow region.
According to Shot, in Losinoo-Petrovsky, according to preliminary data, during a domestic quarrel, a 36-year-old citizen poured charcoal lighter fluid on a woman and set her on fire. The flames burned the victim's hair and spread to her face and body.
It is reported that the victim is currently in intensive care with burns on 40% of her body. The woman is also suspected of having a traumatic brain injury, which is why the version of a beating preceding the arson is being checked.
According to Shot, after the suspect was detained, it turned out that at the time of the alleged crime, the man was «on drugs.» For now, a report has been drawn up against the citizen «for the use of narcotics.»
