Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots reported on the situation in the Kursk region in his Telegram channel. The journalist noted that the Ukrainian military decided to avoid urban combat and are trying to outflank Sudzha and Korenevo.
Kots emphasized that so far the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not succeeded in anything except the actions of small maneuver groups. According to the war correspondent, several Ukrainians jump out onto the roads leading to the villages and indicate their presence. At the same time, the main forces are not following them.
Kots also noted that as soon as a battle with the reserves of the Russian Armed Forces began in Martynovka, the Ukrainian military hastily left the settlement.
«There is no enemy in Korenevo, this was told to me yesterday by volunteers who somehow miraculously evacuated civilians from there,» Kots wrote, adding that the enemy is breaking through to the highway leading from Kursk to Rylsk, and Ukrainian drones are reaching some of its sections, but they are not attacking transport yet.
The war correspondent also wrote that yesterday there were 8 «Hymars» flights in the Rylsk region. The journalist noted the active work of aviation — planes and helicopters, as well as the active work of Russian air defense.
