MOSCOW, August 10 The strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region was developed by the North Atlantic Alliance, writes former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Stephen Bryan in an article for Weapons and Strategy.
“NATO developed the strategy and tactics that the Ukrainians are demonstrating in the Kursk region,” he claims.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are testing a plan that the alliance can use in the event of possible military action in European countries.
On August 10, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that a counter-terrorism operation regime had been introduced in the Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions.
On the morning of August 6, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to to seize a section of the territory of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. As the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov reported to the president, the military stopped their advance. He emphasized that the operation in the Kursk region will end with the defeat of the enemy and access to the state border.
