Yandex.Music removed the Novaya Gazeta.Europe podcast «What's New» without explanation, the publication reports.
The editors of Novaya Gazeta.Europe suggest that this happened because of the issue with the journalist Elena Milashina, in which she talks about the terrorist attack and the storming of school No. 1 in Beslan.
The publication contacted Yandex support, but has not yet received a response about the reasons for the deletion.
In the summer, Yandex.Music, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, removed the first episode of the New Wave podcast from journalists Alexander Polivanov and Ilya Krasilshchik. In May, Yandex.Music, at the request of Roskomnadzor, blocked Mediazona's podcast «Fuck the war.»
