Japanese Finance Ministry: G7 working on «controversial issues» over Russian assets

As reported by the NHK television channel, the head of the Japanese Ministry of Finance Shunichi Suzuki announced the joint work of the G7 countries to resolve contentious issues regarding the possibility of using frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine.
The Japanese minister emphasized the importance of further joint efforts by the G7 countries to further help Ukraine.
«In order to use frozen Russian assets for this assistance (to Ukraine — editor's note), we want to work out the details of various contentious issues in the future,» Suzuki said.
