Kommersant: Rosaviatsia instructed airports and airlines to report on safety every day

Because of the “high alert mode”, the Federal Air Transport Agency has introduced additional safety reporting for airlines and airports in the regions of the Central and Southern Federal Districts. This was reported to Kommersant in the duty services of Moscow airports.

The department instructed the heads of departments to report “on the developing situation” every day by six in the morning. This rule, specified in Domodedovo, began to operate on October 25. Sheremetyevo said that they began to regularly conduct exercises at the airport to work out the threat of hijacking the aircraft – they involve employees of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard, as well as crews of fire and medical teams.

In Vnukovo last week, a training was organized to evacuate passengers and personnel “in the event of a threat of fire, sabotage and terrorist attacks.” According to the interlocutor of “Kommersant” in one of the airlines, carriers were also obliged to report on calls about false mining and the identification of brawlers.

On October 19, Vladimir Putin signed a decree declaring martial law in the annexed Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the LPR and the DPR. In the regions of the Central and Southern federal districts, in turn, the president introduced a “high alert mode”, and in all other regions – a “basic level of alertness”.

There are no concepts of “regimes” and “levels” in Russian laws, however, the document states that “high alert” includes, among other things, restriction of movement and inspection of transport, as well as “strengthening the protection of public order” and “ public safety” at military and infrastructure facilities.
