The Vladimir Garrison Military Court denied compensation to three National Guard soldiers who claimed to have been injured after being shelled in Ukraine. The decision was published on the website of the court, attention was paid to it by the Argument.
Ivan Tezikov, Vadim Nosov and Vagif Vidadi-ogly Abdullayev appealed to the court, the amount of the claim was not specified. According to them, on February 24, 2022, they were sent to Ukraine as part of the Nevsky OMON, and on March 3 they came under fire — perhaps this is the same shelling near Kharkov, in which four officers of the Vladimir department of the Russian Guard were killed.
< p>According to the lawyer Andrei Maslov, who represents the interests of Abdullayev, there are six such plaintiffs in total. It is possible that three others — Ivan Zamaraev, Kirill Nesterov and Kambolat Khamatkoev — were also denied their claims in early April, but the content of these claims is unknown, since the court decisions have not been published.
“There are certain regulatory documents that, after being injured, they had to apply within three days. My argument is that if the battle goes on for five days, then they couldn’t apply for three days,” lawyer Maslov tells Mediazona.
It follows from the decision that the plaintiffs were injured during the shelling, they headache, heaviness in the head, pain in the cervical and lumbar spine, blurred vision, poor sleep, dizziness.”
Back in Vladimir in March, they were treated at the hospital, where they were diagnosed with not specified in the decision. It is said that the security forces had no visible injuries.
The National Guard, which is the defendant in the case, claims that after being wounded, the fighters did not record injuries to the commander, and several of their colleagues testified in court that they did not see mine explosions, from which, according to the plaintiffs, they suffered.
< p> The document also mentions that the commander of the 1st operational platoon by the name of Popov conducted an inspection, as a result of which it was decided that the soldiers were injured during the clash in Ukraine, but subsequently the conclusions of these inspections were canceled. It is clarified that the presidential decree on payments for war injuries was issued on March 5, 2022 and does not apply to events that occurred before that. » class=»mz-publish-context-cite__image» alt=»1″ />«We wandered through the fields for several days.» In the first days of the invasion of Ukraine, hundreds of Russian guardsmen refused to fight and returned — and now they are appealing their dismissal in court
