MOSCOW, September 9 Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK and expressed confidence in the joint systematic expansion of bilateral ties between the countries in all directions, the corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
The formation of the DPRK was proclaimed on September 9, 1948, this date is celebrated annually in the north of the Korean Peninsula as a public holiday.
