YAROSLAVL, September 14 An explosive object was discovered on the territory of the Tula region; while it is being eliminated by detonation, residents of nearby settlements will be temporarily taken to a safe distance, the Ministry of Regional Security of the Tula Region reported on Thursday morning areas.
“On September 13, an explosive object was discovered on the territory of the Teplo-Ogarevsky district of the Tula region,” the ministry reports.
Regional emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the incident. A set of security measures has been organized. There is no immediate threat to residents and infrastructure, authorities emphasize.
“Currently, emergency services continue to work at the scene of the incident. Specialists have decided to eliminate the explosive object on site through a controlled detonation. During the period of work, residents of nearby settlements will be temporarily moved to a safe distance,” – the message says.
