Commander 31 was killed 1st Ulyanovsk Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel Andrei Kondrashkin with the call sign “Danube”. This was reported by the deputy head of the Russian Guard in the DPR, Alexander Khodakovsky.
«Today we were very deeply hurt by the news of his death. We offer our condolences to his family and friends, his comrades in arms,” he wrote in his telegram channel.
He did not talk about the circumstances of Kondrashkin’s death.
According to information from the group “ ;VDV. Russian Army. Landing magazine” on VKontakte, Kondrashkin was born in 1971. Previously, he was the commander of the 56th Separate Guards Air Assault Order of the Patriotic War Don Cossack Brigade. He graduated from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, then took part in the counter-terrorist operation in the Chechen Republic.
