The Russian representative office of the Chinese brand announced the start of sales of the SUV, the production of which was launched at the end of last month at Avtotor's facilities.
The owner of the Kaiyi brand is the Chinese multi-brand company Chery. Kaya's first-born in the Russian Federation was the E5 sedan; production of this model started at the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant at the end of January of this year. By the way, a Kolesa.ru correspondent has already conducted a test drive of this four-door. Now another model has been added to the local lineup: we are talking about the Kaiyi X3 crossover.

Production of SUVs at the facilities of the same Russian enterprise started on August 31. Now the local representative office has announced the start of sales of the X-3 and published the price list of the model.
< p>In the Russian Federation, Kaiyi X3 is presented in two trim levels – Comfort and Luxury. The recommended retail price for the basic version is 2,117,650 rubles; the “comfortable” version with a CVT will cost no less than 2,220,950 rubles. The cost of the top version of the crossover starts in the Russian Federation at 2,282,930 rubles.

The Comfort and Luxury versions differ not only in equipment, but also in appearance: for example, the basic version received a radiator grille with a pattern in the form of horizontal stripes, while the top-end version of the SUV was decorated with the so-called “matrix” grille with a pattern of small dots. The central and rear roof pillars are made in black, thereby achieving the effect of a “floating top”. The palette includes six body color options – white, black, red, blue, light gray and dark gray.

The overall length of the Kaiyi crossover is 4400 mm, width – 1831 mm, height – 1653 mm, the distance between the axles of the Kaiyi X3 is 2632 mm, and the nameplate ground clearance is 158 mm. Under the hood there is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with an output of 113 hp, and it is paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
The Kaiyi X3, already in the Comfort version, was equipped with 17-inch wheels, halogen headlights, LED running lights, a light sensor, rear parking sensors, cruise control, air conditioning, an infotainment system with a 10.25-inch diagonal touchscreen, fabric upholstery, a pair of front airbags safety and an expanded “winter package”, which includes a heated steering wheel, outside mirrors and windshield washer nozzles, as well as heated first and second row seats.
The Luxury crossover received LED optics, 18-inch alloy wheels, eco-leather trim, side airbags, a rear view camera with dynamic markings, roof rails and other functions.< br />
Recall that the closest relative of the Kaiyi X3 produced in the Russian Federation is the imported Chery Tiggo 4 SUV, which is familiar to Russians ( Now in the local line there is a version with a Pro increase; the pre-reform Chery Tiggo 4 left the Russian market last summer). Its cost today varies from 2,249,900 to 2,699,900 rubles. It is worth noting that the Kaiyi X3 Pro with a sportier appearance will soon enter the Russian market; its price tag will be declassified later.
