MOSCOW, November 13. The case party received administrative a lawsuit from the Ministry of Justice to suspend activities for two months, the party intends to prove its case in court, said the secretary of the party’s federal council, Alexei Lapushkin.
“Last week on November 8, we received an administrative claim to suspend the activities of the party,” Lapushkin said, clarifying that we are talking about suspending activities for two months.
Lapushkin explained that the Ministry of Justice had questions about changing the party charter.
“”For us, the situation with the actions of the Ministry of Justice is currently incomprehensible. On August 17, we held the VII Party Congress, at which all his comments were eliminated. Accordingly, on August 29, notifications were submitted with all the necessary documents, after which the supervisory authority had a question about change to the party's charter. But this change is of a technical nature, that is, it is in no way a serious reason for suspending our work. Accordingly, the Ministry of Justice wrapped this change in the charter for us,” he said.
Lapushkin added that the party has information that today this lawsuit will be registered in the Supreme Court.
“A preliminary court hearing should take place, at which the parties will indicate their position. We are committed to constructive work with the Ministry of Justice and expect to clarify the situation for ourselves at the preliminary hearing, and if there is any misunderstanding, remove it.” If this doesn’t work out, we will prove our case in court,” the politician concluded.
