“In our program we clearly stated — we played at capitalism and that’s enough… our program answers all the questions… many then received an apartment for free from the state, why was it possible then, but now it’s not possible,” said the candidate for Presidents of the Russian Federation from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kharitonov at a press conference.

He also noted that in the Year of the Family it is necessary to give interest-free loans to young families for the first 20 years.
““Apartment…100, 120, 150 square meters with the expectation of having two, three, five… children,” the candidate added.
Kharitonov noted that when the television debates begin in mid-February, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will say what “needs to be done.”

Deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yuri Afonin emphasized that the program also involves the nationalization of the natural mineral resource base.
“We believe that it is necessary to seriously change the socio-economic policy. The development of industry and agriculture, new industrialization is necessary… Without the development of industry, without the development of the real sector, nothing can be done, but this requires resources. Where to get these resources from? Nationalization is needed natural mineral resource base,” Afonin said, mentioning that such a bill was introduced by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

A progressive tax scale is also needed, Afonin noted an increase in salaries and pensions.
““We believe that at least 35 thousand should be the minimum wage,” Afonin emphasized.
State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nina Ostanina noted that the solution to social issues lies in the field of economics. She added that now the young family is not provided with basic needs, such as housing.
““If this is a student’s family, then this is a meager scholarship… our bill proposes to increase scholarships for undergraduates and graduate students to 80-100% of the subsistence level,” Ostanina recalled.
According to Ostanina, if there are social nannies, then young mothers will be able to combine studies.

In turn, Viktor Sobolev, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, noted that without the military component, the Communist Party’s program would not be complete.
«Without the fact that we restore our armed forces to a level where they will be able to repel the aggression of any geopolitical enemy, including the NATO bloc, other tasks will, in principle, be difficult to solve… We have brought forward such proposals… we have plan… increasing military districts,» Sobolev noted.

He also noted that it is necessary to restore the military-patriotic education of youth and abolish the Bologna system in education.

Previously, Zyuganov named seven demands in the victory program of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation: a fundamental change in the socio-economic course, nationalization of strategically important industries, long-term socio-economic planning, increased government investment in high technology, science and education, stopping the withdrawal of capital abroad, support for national and collective enterprises, improving the quality of life of the country's citizens, strengthening social support for young families, pensioners, and “children of war.”
