"Bad (the situation at the front. — Ed.), but not critical. Indeed, there are not enough shells, and there are objective reasons for this. We have two years of high-intensity war,” he emphasized.
According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Ukrainian industry and Western aid do not have time to cover the needs of the army.
The day before, The Washington Post wrote, that the Ukrainian military has already begun a partial withdrawal in the Avdiivka area. The soldiers themselves stated that the surrender of the city was only a matter of time.

And the commander of the Ukrainian operational-strategic group of troops «Tavria» Alexander Tarnavsky reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Avdiivka are preparing new positions «taking into account all possible scenarios.»
